Night at the Museum: Featuring Magos Herrera

A Collaboration with Victoria Fine Arts Association

Exciting news for music and art lovers! The Nave will be hosting a collaboration with the Victoria Fine Arts Association in presenting a live musical performance by award-winning Mexican jazz singer and songwriter, Magos Herrera. Mark your calendars for May 9th, as Herrera graces our gallery with her captivating vocals and soulful melodies from 6-8 pm. This promises to be an unforgettable evening celebrating the intersection of art and music in the heart of our community. Join us as we come together to experience the enchanting talents of Magos Herrera, elevating our cultural landscape with her renowned artistry. Tickets can be purchased here! Pictures with Santa at the Nave

Bundle up your kiddos and head over to the Nave Museum December 14th for cookies, hot cocoa, and pictures with Santa. The museum is adorned with beautiful Christmas lights and a festive tree, creating the perfect backdrop for your child's photo with Santa. We can't wait to see you there!

Victoria Duck Safari

WHAT IS THE VICTORIA DUCK SAFARI?
Thousands of adopted rubber ducks will dive into the Lake at Ethel Lee Tracy Park on Saturday, November 4th from 12 -3 PM and race toward the finish line. Prizes will be awarded for the first 10 ducks to reach the finish line. Anyone can adopt a duck for a chance to win. The ducks will paddle their way to an exciting finish. Can’t make it to the Duck Safari? Not a problem. If your lucky duck wins, you will be notified of your prize.
WHY ADOPT A DUCK?
By adopting a duck, you have the opportunity to support both the Victoria Symphony Orchestra and the Nave. This is a chance for our non-profit community to pull together this season so let’s make a splash with the Fourth Annual Victoria Duck Safari BUCK-A-DUCK non-profit program. Donation of Artwork by artist Ernesto Leon

We are so excited to announce that the Nave's private collection has grown! Artist Ernesto Leon, who has just wrapped his exhibit "Exploring the Art of Ernesto Leon: A Didactic Approach to Appreciate the Diversity of His Work", has generously donated to us the painting in the image shown to the left titled "Geo".
We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Leon for his generosity and his desire to contribute to the growing diversity of the Nave's private collection. We very much look forward to another opportunity to display it again in the future!

NEW EVENT: Exhibit Wrap Parties!

INTRODUCING... Exhibit Wrap Parties!! On the last Saturday of each exhibit, the Nave will host a gathering for both members and non-members! *RSVP to these events are preferred* Free with active membership and $50 for non-members - will include bites, beverages, and entertainment!

60-Minute yoga classes on Mondays during exhibits

Namaste at the Nave!

Introducing our "Namaste at the Nave" classes every Monday. Classes start at 5:30 PM and conclude at 6:30 PM. All you need to bring is your yoga mat! Classes are free with active membership and $30 for non-members for the whole month. Instruction by Sharon Elder.

Kids Summer Art Program

This summer, let your kids explore the world through art!

Sign your kiddos up starting May 1st for our 1-week summer art program where we will explore art from five countries around the world, create projects to be taken home each day, and receive a stamped keepsake souvenir passport! Authentic refreshments from each country will be served daily.

(Countries include Italy, Mexico, China, Israel, & South Africa)

 

Class begins Monday July 24th through Friday July 28th, 2023 and start at 10 AM through 12 PM.

Registration is first come, first serve with a limit of 15 attendees!
