Calling all teen artists!

The Nave Museum is proud to offer free art education to the Crossroads community as part of our commitment to enriching the lives of people of all ages through the transformative power of art.

We are excited to re-start our free art classes for teens on select Friday evenings from 6-8 PM during exhibits. Topics will cover a variety of subjects including influential creators of favorite mangas and delve into the exciting world of comic heroes throughout the generations.  Projects will include creating your own comic storyboard, figurines, and more!

Creating essential Manga components

Our teen art classes are an observation of legendary animes and an exploration of creativity and self-expression. Participants have been taking the time to learn the intricacies and details necessary to develop their own anime creations. The World of Jack Kirby, Osamu Tezuka, and more!

Fantastic Friday nights at Teen Art Class! Participants delved into the captivating world of comic book art, inspired by the legendary Jack Kirby of Marvel and Hanna-Barbera fame and legendary Japanese manga animator Osamu Tezuka. From learning to craft storyboards and draw their own manga covers to indulging in pizza and soda, these classes have been a blast! Can't wait for the next FREE Art Experience Class: Teen Edition on Friday, July 19th!
